What We Believe...

We believe that there is one God eternally existing in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1; Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead. We believe in Jesus' virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His suffering and literal death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His coming return to earth, and He will reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords. (Isaiah 53; John 3:16; I Corinthians 15:1-8; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)

We believe the Holy Spirit is an active and operative part of the triune God, who convicts the world in regard to sin, righteousness, and judgment, and who indwells in every Christian, gifting them for service in the church and enabling them to live a godly life. (John 14:16-20, 26-27; 16:7-16; Romans 12:4-8; I Corinthians 12:1- 11, Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:13-14)

We believe that man, created by God, willfully sinned and as a result, is lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:21-24, 6:23; Acts 4:12)

We believe that salvation is by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9), through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9, Colossians 2:12), in baptism (Colossians 2:12), for good works (Ephesians 2:10).

We believe that the Biblical pattern to receive God's free gift of salvation is to hear the gospel.  Believe in Jesus as God's Son and Savior of the world, repent of personal sin, confess Christ publicly, be baptized, and remain faithful to the end. (Romans 10:9, Acts 2:36-38, Mark 16:16, Mark 13:13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Colossians 2:6, John 3:16)

We believe that death seals the eternal destiny of each person. When Jesus returns He will pronounce the eternal fate of each individual, both living and dead, either to eternal life in heaven or eternal separation from God in hell. (John 5:28-29; 2 Corinthians 4:14, Matthew 10:28, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53)

We believe that the Church is the body and bride of Jesus on earth, founded on the Day of Pentecost, consisting of all Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:14-16)
